Clearance Alert: Keds 50-70% OFF
You know your stuff girls, first come the pre Christmas sales then the post Christmas clearances. Keds have always been the favorite in the comfy zone so if you (like me) plan to start that killing gym program that you desperately need after the holidays but insist to step in with style here is your place. Keds’ main lines are: Classic Sport, Champion, Rave, Kedettes and the Nanette Lepore’s Designer line. In this blog so far I mainly introduced you to the Kedettes and once or twice the Champions. Main difference – Kedettes are more girly.
Anyway for gym purposes it really depends on you. Here is what you can choose from:
Classic Sport: an absolute classic as you can see. If you intend to be really active in the gym this is the right style. Currently for $44.00
Champion: These more colorful and really cute, but I’d suggest them only if what you intend to do is not related to much jumping and sweating. Currently for $19.99
Rave: The Raves are very comfortable but I see them more for out of the gym activities like all kinds of walking, maybe biking and of the kind. Currently for $44.99
Kedettes: You already know about them, they will make your sporty style gorgeous but I don’t see you jumping and running with these, especially if you get the Kedette Wedges. Currently for $19.95
Designer: THE Designer is actually Nanette Lepore. Her styles have been around since fall and made quite a buzz. If you get the Grey Velvet Bootie you can actually go to the gym but if I were you I’d ruin them …

I love the 60’s, I love them so much that I almost regret that I am not 50+ so that I could actually remember the 60’s.
I suspect Jill Stuart love them too, otherwise she wouldn’t have designed the Giselle Booties. Leather and patent are raised on stilleto heels with this Mary Jane design. They are so 60’s as if Edie Sedgwick has just put them off …

There is some magic around the white leather, but with this boot comes another magic.

Is it just me or these platform pumps look like Christian Louboutins?
I love Allen Schwartz for his hard work on delivering affordable couture for so many years but again … Well, if they were Christian’s they would cost at least $300 so I guess I start to care less.
I love the elegant ruffles on the vamp, although I am not very sure about the jewel on it and the croc print.

Chloe: Patent Leather Wedge
This style comes from the Chloe F/W 07 collection. Maybe it is not the perfect choice for the long street blocks, especially because of the wooden sole, but if your attendance is required somewhere you need to make a glow than they’re just perfect. They also feature elastic gores, so that is good news too.

Moccasin Boots: A Sequal?
Last year big buzz was made around the Minnetonka styles on the feet of Sienna Miller, Kate Moss, Lindsay Lohan and other trend-setters. These styles defined by many as ugly and not real Native American (because apparently Native Americans didn’t have shoes with soles) were very close to being labeled as the new UGGs but they didn’t make so strong an impact. Well, this year all shows that the buzz is still on, and if you are into the style I’d advise to go check the same design currently available in Dorothy Perkins rather than spending money on Minnetonka’s (which prices rose after the buzz).

Parisian Graphic Art On Shoes
Parisian graphic artist Mathieu Missiaen gave a serious buzz around the globe with his art work on designer pumps. As real art, I hardy believe that anyone would go shopping on Oxford Street with these jewels on the feet (OK, maybe the grey ones and not on Oxford Street), but it doesn’t affect the worship around them.
Since there are very few who dare to put the shoes on their feet, the people wearing tees with the shoes as applications grow. A “I am not a painted pump movement”? We’ll see.

Italian Boots Arrived!
About the Italian shoes, bags and men being incredible is a cliché for a reason. When I reviewed this line the impression that they are trendy but not “as we know it” stayed with me for a long time.
